Dryland Swim Club

Privacy notice

What happens to the information you give us, in plain English. Last updated 16 October 2026.

Who we are

Dryland Swim Club is run by Raúl Griffin-Santos in the UK. If you have any question about your information, or want a copy of it or want it deleted, email raul-2008@outlook.com.

What we collect

From the questionnaire: your name, email, age group, stroke and race distance, gym experience, equipment, season, whether you have a medicine ball or a training partner, your next competition date, your goal, how you heard about us, and anything you tell us about injuries or pain.

If you buy a plan: payment records (we never see or store your card details, the payment provider handles them).

Why we use it

Only to build your plan and tracker, send them to you, answer your questions and, if you're a paying customer, manage your membership. We use what you tell us about injuries or pain to choose safer exercises and to suggest you check with a doctor or physio first. We only do this because you give your consent on the form.

We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be.

Under 16s

If you're under 16, please fill in the form with a parent or guardian. We ask for their name and email, and email them to confirm before we build the plan. We only use their email for that check and for messages about your plan. If you're under 13, a parent or guardian must fill it in for you.

Where it's kept

Form answers are stored by our website host, Netlify, and in our email and our private customer spreadsheet. Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your name, email and card details to take the payment; we never see your full card number. Your training log in the tracker stays on your own phone or computer. We never see it unless you send it to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your answers while you're a customer and for up to 12 months after your last plan, so we can help if you come back. Then we delete them. Payment records are kept for 6 years because the tax rules require it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, or withdraw your consent, by emailing raul-2008@outlook.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
